The story is set in a city of 4 seasons. It’s a tale of unrequited love between Jewel the uprising actress and star of the famous theatre in town “Gouden Roos” and Jake the painter who captured her heart and soul. It depicts the life of a performer which is very similar to a bird. While its soaring high beautiful and free, there’s always those who prefer to possess them and cage them to live out their own fantasies. Such is the case of Jewel. She is a free-spirited girl caught in the middle of her desire to be loved and her career that she loves. She must then choose in the course of event that will occur. She will meet rivals looking for the very special chance to break her down. Sacrifice her love for someone who believes the key to her heart is to give her fame. What will she do to free herself from this cage? And will her love for Jake bring them together or tear them apart?
